Above all else, I consider myself a student of life! Every day is a journey, revelation, mystery, a challenge, and a gift. I find something to learn from everyone and everything.
My journey into the field of holistic wellness absolutely began with my own healing. Every modality that I now offer in my practice has helped me through various challenges in my life, be it an eating disorder, depression, anxiety, insomnia... This lived experience sparked a passion in me, which drove me to train to become a practitioner and share these beautiful practices with others.
I believe that the work I've done, and still do, on my own healing means I can bring a depth of empathy and understanding to those I work with.
My background includes work within the UK prison service, where I served as a prison officer and later as a co-facilitator with The Arukah Project. In this role, I introduced trauma-awareness practices and emotional regulation tools—including the basics of EFT—to individuals who had experienced severe trauma, often as both victims and perpetrators of abuse.
This work taught me how to hold compassionate space for even the most painful and dark aspects of the human experience. I believe that true healing happens when all parts of us—especially those carrying shame or pain—are held and heard with compassion.
Currently, I work in the care sector, which strongly aligns with my values of providing nurturing, dignified, and person-centred support to others.
